John
Kaufman Senior ACT! and Business Consultant
John is
a high energy, out-of-the-box thinker who earned his
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from
University
of
Tampa. John holds certifications from Microsoft,
ACCPAC, Best Software, Cisco
and Compaq. He has been a sales and marketing
professional since 1989.
As a Marketing Vice President with a national systems
integration firm, John began using ACT! in 1995. An
entrepreneur at heart, he helped successfully grow the
several startup companies through marketing and
acquisitions. In 1997, John became a partner in an
ACCPAC accounting reseller and helped increase company
sales by 380% in just under three years. He was
nominated as a finalist for the South Florida Business
Journal 'Up and Comer' of the Year in 2000. The company was a awarded the #1
U.S.
Reseller by sales volume in 2000 and was a
Delloite & Touché Technology Awards Finalist in
2001. After selling his interest in the company, John
moved to
Denver
in 2001 to enjoy the quality of life that the area
offers and to focus on helping people and business
thrive using CRM software.
John and ACT! Consultant Cheryl Campbell founded Compass
Technology
in 2002 and John leads the sales consulting and training
area of the business. He also is the only ACT!
Certified Consultant in the state with Credentials from
the Colorado Department for Higher Education to teach
Business Education in Computer Information System.
John
is actively involved with charity work and was
awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2000 from
Abilities of Florida Foundation. He currently works with the Colorado Boys Ranch
and Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities.
His hobbies includes skiing, competitive sailing,
writing for the ACT! Extra Newsletter and chess.
John is committed to giving
back to the community. Driven by the belief that hard
work and integrity pay dividends, John devotes time to a
variety of civic projects.
He lives in Cherry Creek with his wife Susan.
