I saw ACT! 6.0 for 2004 in the store.  Is this an upgrade that I need?  What if I already use ACT! 6.0?

The ACT! 6.0 for 2004 is the new packaging being used for ACT! 6.0.   This is NOT an upgrade to earlier versions of ACT! 6.0.   However, the MSRP is now $249.00 and the new packaging comes with ACT! for Palm and ACT! for Pocket PC software.  Click here for more information..

 

When I send e-mail from ACT! 6.0, they are attached to Notes/History in the  recipients contact record.  Can I attach incoming e-mail that I receive to the senders contact record?

Yes, you can attach received e-mails to a contact record.  

  1. In ACT!, click the ACT! E-mail icon or from the toolbar, select View > E-mail.

  2. The ACT! E-mail client will load and go into the Inbox.  

  3. Left mouse click on the e-mail that you would like to attach to a contact record.

  4. A menu will appear.

  5. Click Attach to Contact.

  6. The Attach E-mail to Contact will appear.

  7. In the Type in/Choose name space, type the last name of the desired contact.

  8. Click the Add button.

  9. Click the OK button.
