different training programs to fit your needs - in a classroom
setting, on-site at your office or web based via the Internet.
On-site and Web-based
Custom Training
ACT! training can
be provided at your place of business or via the internet.
The goal is to teach you and your employees the ACT! skills
to make your business more productive and effective.
First we apply your business sales, marketing and customer
service processes to ACT!, then teach you how to use ACT! to
meet your goals. Sessions are usually less than three hours.
We recommend a one-hour Question and Answer follow up session
three to four weeks later to focus on issues that arise once
people begin to use what they have learned. This also includes
one-on-one sessions. Hourly charges apply for this type of
training.
Classroom Training
Our senior consultant, John Kaufman,
currently teaches two levels of ACT! courses at
BCI Executive Training Group in the Denver Tech
Center. John
is the only ACT! Certified Consultant in the state with
Credentials from the Colorado Department for Higher Education to
teach Business Education in Computer Information Systems.
Using ACT! 6.0 Level 1 - The
Basics:
This 4-hour course is ideal for
first-time users and people who are just getting started
with ACT!
6.0 First we review the basic ACT! functions and then
continue with hands-on training, including: Review of ACT's features, Organizing the Database, Entering
Contacts by Relationships and Groups, Scheduling, Communicating
via E-mail, Fax, and Word Processing. Also covered:
How to Properly Use Notes and History, Calendar/Task List,
Mail-Merges
and Reports. The
cost for this course is $159.00 per person.
Using ACT! 6.0 Level 2 -
Advanced:
This
4-hour course is
ideal for users who are already comfortable with ACT! 6.0
software. We review such topics as:
ACT! Settings, Database Maintenance, How to
Customize Databases and Layouts, Add/Delete Fields, Create New
Tabs, Advanced Look-ups, Sorting and Replacing Data, and
Creating Document/E-mail Templates. We also cover:
Creating Drop-Down Menus, Macros, Advanced Mail-Merges,
Importing Data, Sales
Opportunities and Troubleshooting. The
cost for this course is $159.00 per person.
Using ACT! 2005 Level 1- The Basics:
This 4.5 hour course is ideal for first-time users
and people who are just getting started with ACT!
2005. First we review the basic ACT! functions and then
continue with hands-on training, including: Review of ACT's features, Organizing the Database, Entering
Contacts by Relationships, Groups and Companies, Scheduling, Communicating
via E-mail, Fax, and Word Processing. Also covered:
